No charge to attend, but it helps us a lot if you RSVP for the event at Upcoming(http://upcoming.yahoo.com/event/822264/?ps=5). We check the numbers to plan how many chairs to set up and how many snacks to buy. Thanks!

I just want to make sure people realize that the Bulls play at home tomorrow at 7:05! So parking will be in demand, but not impossible. We suggest that you:
- Allow 10 extra minutes to get to Refresh
- Plan to park in the “North Deck” (see map) - easiest to take Jackson Street from Duke or Gregson. Jackson runs right into the deck.
- Or snag a (legal) parking spot on Jackson Street so you don’t have to pay.
- Bring $3.00 if you end up parking in the deck. Sorry! They only charge on game nights.
- Enter through the door marked Bay 12 and go downstairs to the TFA office.
See you there!

What is accessibility for a wheelchair like at this location? I notice it says you need to go to bay 12 and go down stairs - is there an elevator? Thanks.

Cheyanne - good question. I just called over there and was told that there is not an elevator at Bay 12. As you come towards the North parking deck from Jackson Street, you’ll be facing the back side of the campus. From this side, you can enter through Bay 7 where there is an elevator. Go down and exit the building; you’ll now be in the interior part of the campus. Go left out the door and you’ll have the Bays to your left. You should be able to enter Bay 11 on the correct level. The Teach For America office will be straight ahead.
This map might be helpful: http://www.americantobaccohistoricdistrict.com/directory.html
Let me know if I can clarify anything.

When you say we should be able to enter Bay 11 on the correct level, do you mean enter Bay 12? Or do I need to go through Bay 11 to get to 12? Thanks for the help.

Teach For America’s office is actually in Bay 11 on the lower level. The issue is that the back side of the campus (near the North Deck) puts you in on the upper level. And, the Bay 11 door on the back side does not have any lower level access. But it is possible to go Bay 12 from that side, down the stairs, and be in Bay 11, so that’s why I had encouraged people to come in through Bay 12. Does that make sense? Sorry - it’s a totally confusing place. If you want to contact me directly try emily dot bloom at viget dot com.
